Ebay account with $500 BILLION limits?
 

Today I came across some CL post of some guy selling his EB account with 10 Billion / $500 Billion monthly limits. No kidding.
I've heard of eBay limits in the tens of millions, but over a BILLION?

That guy is asking $10k for it, but no mention it's linked to a PayPal.

Even if this account is legit, it's largely useless w/o an attached PayPal unless you could QUALIFY for a merchant gateway to push very high volumes. It's rather meaningless unless your payment processor will allow it. :ballchain:

Not at all. Although Zimbabwe had a slight bout of hyperinflation almost 10 years ago, they issued tons of these, most of which ended up in the hands of collectors. You can often find them going for around $100 US on eBay.

Just to be clear, these notes were 100 Trillion Zimbabwe dollars (not US$)

What's the point though? If you have the skill to sell more than 1 billion worth of products, then maybe you're a super genius and selling on Ebay is a waste of your talent and time.

@Nick - these are the exact limits my merchant account eBay account has. I've posted screenshots multiple times. But the limits are useless because nobody wants to buy from a seller without Paypal. I'll go get another screenshot. Maybe you only get these limits if you don't use Paypal...

I promise you guys Nick's screenshot isn't ⊗⊗⊗⊗ but the eBay account probably sucks.

EDIT: I would be happy to sell mine for $10k also but I would have to remove my merchant account first. HMU account sellers. I can give all the proofs you want.

The guy selling the account makes NO mention of the account his account comes with the original PP, or Merchant Account/Gateway. Without that, what the heck is this account good for?

It's not even worth $10 in my book, let alone $10k.

It could be that the seller uses (used) a merchant account on that eBay account, then realized it's terrible and decided to try getting rid of the eBay account.

Most who resort to a merchant account had their PP perma limited for some reason or another so that would explain why PP isn't mentioned. If that is the case, he has to sell the eB without a payment gateway because his merchant account would be tied directly to him/his business.

Just speculating. But I know these aren't starting selling limits and I know they aren't phake.

whether it's ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or real, what we can learn from this is that even if the account is purchased, there's a high chance that that account will suspended the moment you start using it.

You just never know what people do with their accounts and how they made it, etc.

I'm assuming the PP isn't included or it would've been explicitly included in the listing. That being said, I don't think the image is phake. I'm just speculating here, but seems to me that the reason he's selling it is related to a drawdown in business (intentional or non-intentional).

Looks like the OP has been edited, but I think it originally claimed to have 2m in sales over 12 years... or roughly 200k/year. That's nice, but certainly not unachievable. It also looks like past 3 months sales were only about 15k... it doesn't take a math wiz to see that it's way behind what it used to do, for whatever reason. He hasn't listed anything this month either, according to OP photo.

I am guessing that its basically impossible to get flagged on it tho. If it comes with a paypal its highly trusted. Who know, they could of ****ed it up.
