How much abuse can a top account take?

I recently witnessed an interesting situation.

Seller whom I have been following for a while has been selling VERO/trademark foo-foos in large quantities. He has 5500+ positive feedback and had around 500 listings, with each listing showing approx. 150-200+ "sold" items.

Recently I checked his listings, and he took all of them down. My guess is that he was suspended.

I am just curious, how much abuse can such account take? 5.5k feedback, top rated, pushing 250-300k a year?

Here's the problem, you really have no clue how this account is run....maintained, or what this seller has done to keep their account from going under.

Obviously this seller is got their sh*t together and more power to them.

It's all about luck. I saw seller accounts with 20k+ feedbacks and pushing 100k+ a month. Most of them are still up and running.

I am extremely happy to see these big companies losing billions in revenue to counterfeits every year. They decided to take their business to China and now the Chinese are banging them over there and in the homeland as well. If they want to really fight counterfeits, then they ought doing that in China. Ooh I forgot, China does not give a damn about US laws


Sellers want to make a living and customers want something affordable so let it be this way.

To give you an idea, I was a gold Powerseller during the days... $14000/mo
all legit, no nonsense, played by the book. Until today I got suspended for absolutely no clue.

Although we all run a risk of random unfortunate events, most of what happens to us in life is because of the things we do.

In some people's book bad luck is selling phony iphone cords and getting hammered for it.

I am just stunned how he managed to push such volumes without attracting attention. Having 500+ trademark/VERO items all year round, most of which showed 150-200 "sold" is pretty darn scary, IMHO. Plus he lives in the west coast, where the customs are strict.

Or maybe he took all his listings off because he got caught/arrested/raided? Also a possibility.

Am I allowed to post his EB id? I would be good idea for us all to look over his account and share thoughts and opinions

I've had $30,000.00/mo before, but the suspension was due to me being stupid for not shipping the items on time.

From what I've seen, if you get to the point where they assign you your own personal rep, the account can take a LOT of abuse.

Car decals are vero now? I wasn't aware that was something that sold.

I used to sell car window tint and these type of items were available from vendors (legit) so I can't say these are foo items. A lot of car companies even have special licensing usage for their logos on items like this - some don't even charge as it's promotion.

Hello, I had a personal account that was around 3-4 years old and I had around 10 7 days suspensions ( during which I could always sell and list new items as usual lol ) before I got a 30 day one.
With new accounts, I would be done in a few weeks. This went on for 8-9 strong months.
So sellers that are even stronger than that I can imagine they can just do whatever. I can also see hundreds of users selling tens or hundreds of clearly ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods with tens of negative comments that they are ⊗⊗⊗⊗.
