Default Just got totally screwed by an eBay rep

I logged into one of my accounts and found a very unusual amount of complaints over a few products. All were new accounts and one particular one contacted support. The rep has instantly decided on the buyers favor for a non-delivery case when the case was open and closed on today. Then, at the bottom of the comments, they simply put “listing removed”. So, not only does it ping my account for a defect of item not received, but they manually triggered a vero and 7 day suspension. The rep basically abused the policy to trigger the system. How can they get away with falsely defecting your account and never contacting the seller about an issue. They buyer didn’t even contact me.

Are you saying that your products have never gotten these complaints in the past then suddenly you got gang bullied?

You are correct. I have sold these products for months and months, and to have the frequency I had within two days is statistically astronomical at the chance of it happening. Then to have a rep file under a completely false claim.

After further research, I have concluded that eBay removed the listing. The buyer that filed an item not received was within the few hours before filling the order. Ebay still continued to mark my account with a case not resolved over not received for their own doing of listing removal before I could respond.

I have no good advice about this other than to insist on speaking to a supervisor and trying to get it removed, but I have doubts they will do anything for you, just based on the sad CSR they generally hand out. :(

I am at the same conclusion you are. It is a very strong account, but I feel that complaining could cause more problems than just taking the vero hit. I really think vero may roll off on US accounts. I have this account as being recorded for a 7 day vero restriction and it received it again. Although, I have kept the account spic and span.

Try to recall that the memory of the 7 day restriction will still influence future issues.

I have helped several people who had suspension out of the blue. In every case, their 7 day restriction was the only issue.
