VERO takedown weeks after the listing ended..??

I just saw that I got a message saying that my listing was removed via VERO takedown. But the listing in question was ended around 2 weeks before the VERO takedown happened. How is that possible? Also all sold history has disappeared for this item.

Anyone?

Yep, they can and do take lisrings down 90 days backwarss.

It creates grief for a seller.

Wow that sucks, I didn't know that. It's really weird, there are sellers who have 800+ of that EXACT item sold on their listings and they're still up. Idk why mine got under their radar with only 5-6 sold.

Suggests to me you may have a competitor.

How long have you been selling the item(s)?

Most likely. I was selling for 4-5 days total, and I undercut everyone by price and perhaps that's what triggered it.

Definitely sucks. Useless IMHO to takedown listings that ended long time ago.

Makes the VERO holder happy. It also effects your ebay account so not really useless to ebay. It is a strike in ebays eyes.

I meant to say that it's useless from the VERO holder's perspective to report a listing, which sold just a couple items that ended 2 weeks ago WHILE meantime they are hundreds of listings that show 500+ 800+ sold of the EXACT same item. Makes no sense. If I were a VERO owner, I would concentrate on the bigger fish first. It's amazing how fast sales start to roll once you get to that 250-300+ sold range, been there, done that.

Yes, but you aren't the owner and you don't know what they are thinking.
You just happen to fall into their radar basically.

Plus most products that are VERO will have a minimum advertised price. It's possible you also fell below that

I agree but anyone would agree that chasing someone who sold a few thigs 2 weeks ago is ILLOGICAL when you that those who ACTIVELY sell 100s weekly. I guess I am not that surprised, as brands usually hire one of those bottom-feeding law groups to do this "work" for them on EB. The price of those who sell it by 100s is only 2-3 bucks more than mine.

I just spoke with my buddy who was selling this EXACT item a while back and the SAME thing happened to him - after a few sales - VERO takedown. I also realized that I used the same picture as he did, so maybe that's how it was triggered.

But you do not know the whole picture regarding these others.

Everything related to this jigsaw of vero selling has a place. They may well be part of a bigger picture.

Just be carefulnow,please.

it happens all the time that you have an item taken down (even weeks after it ends) yet you see loads of the same item sold by others that never seem too get taken down.
Plenty of possible reasons and theories why this happens.
