Re: ebay app for stealth??? Welcome to the forums - all the best as you master stealth :thumb:
Avoid use of these bogus apps, in general. |
| nickopedia | 03-04-2018 12:55 AM | Re: ebay app for stealth??? I agree with the app comments.
Using the app is really not that ideal for stealth. The phones serial # (IMEI) and other unique characteristics makes it just that much harder to use more than one EB/PP acct.
You can be sure the eBay app sends a great deal of your hardware info to them, so hiding is gonna be tough. |

It will be brand new and only used for eBay/PayPal stealth account I purchased. Rather than using the app . How about using the browser and listing that way? I find the app very quick and convenient to use though. |

Be sure when they suspend you and you come back here trying to find out why that you reference this thread so that we don't waste a lot of time trying to figure out why they banned you again. |

Ok. One person said it was fine. How about using the browser and listing this way? Instead of the app |

| yankee | 03-05-2018 06:58 PM | Re: ebay app for stealth??? I guess if you are selling random stuff and dont want quality listings, phone app is OK.
Really, it is very unprofessional to use and very risky but if you never use it for anything else and insist on making crap listings, go for it. |

RSOT: Avoid use of these bogus apps, in general.
Nickopedia: Using the app is really not that ideal for stealth. The phones serial # (IMEI) and other unique characteristics makes it just that much harder to use more than one EB/PP acct.
+ the stealth guide says don't.
Then there's:
Yankee: Really, it is very unprofessional to use and very risky
I guess that last is kind of a positive... kind of... sort of... sounds more like a negative to me...
4:1 'no' against the app. Or 5:0 if you count the last one as a negative.
I do have an extra phone dedicated to one account where I use the browser. BUT it's a huge pain, and you still have to log the IP, and you have to keep it off the local home internet service which is always wants to hook up to and which would screw the account, and it's hard to do stuff on the small screen and to type even emails. I just use it for when I travel once in a while, and I may just give up on it altogether at some point soon.
Take it for what it's worth. |
| bhuzz | 03-06-2018 05:04 AM | Thanks for your time and input
Everyone. I'm gonna use the browser on a new phone for now. 👍 |
| mpfteam | 08-19-2018 10:09 AM | Re: ebay app for stealth??? hm... interesting thread. what about I cheap cellphone? I; agrenot to use the eBay app for posting things on eBay. use your computer. however, what about using a cheap cell phone, used or brand new .. whatever. it's never been used before.
based on that info .
can you use your new phone to check and reply messages? do you have to disguise your IP address or not needed?
please have in mind that you've used before your IP address in YOUR computer for a banned eBay account before. but... you got your new phone etc..
is that ok, or do you still have to change your real IP address?
thanks guys. I hope they make sense. |
Re: ebay app for stealth??? @mpfteam, forget using the ebay app - garbage |
| Kajunrook | 08-20-2018 01:53 PM | Re: ebay app for stealth??? The only use I could see for a dedicated phone for an ebay stealth account would be so your phone would go cha ching when you got a sale, that was kinda cool. |
| Jamesdavid | 06-14-2020 04:11 PM | Re: ebay app for stealth???
