Changing registration info
 

Will any of the following affect selling limits in a negative way? Cause a suspension?

1) Change registration name

2) Change registration address

3) Change registration phone #

You can't change the registration name unless it's done as a part of selling one business to another. The others may be changed but if you do it all at once you will be limited.

You're aren't supposed to sell or transfer EB accounts, so no, that won't work.

You can change the phone number, and even the address, but I wouldn't do it. Add a new phone number, and make it primary, don't delete the old one until later. You can do the same thing with the address. It will send up some flags, probably.

Why do you want to do this? Other than the phone number I can't imagine a good reason. The whole idea is to not draw attention, and this gets attention.

I guess I'd change just the phone #.

The account in question is my legit true account, and not stealth so I thought maybe I could get away with changing the registration stuff. I guess not.

I changed the name, business name, emails, address, and contact numbers for my Ebays awhile back.. no issues. These had years of selling history though, not sure on new or stealth accounts.

Even if you change the info, they will always know what you originally registered with, they never forget anything.

So it's not as if you can start with your real info and then put a brown paper bag over your head and become stealth. :)
