Buyer opens a return did not ship item in 5days , I closed case. Buyer returns item with his own label after. And now opens PP case . How do I responded to this so I do not have to refund.

They used a new item for there purpose and then returned it used. And it was expensive and has no value now.

You can call PP and moan and groan at them and listen to them laugh at you, but...

You're going to have to refund. End of story. If you don't refund PP will give them the money back, and ding you for it too.

Even if you won, and you can't, the next charge back would be on his credit card, and you'll lose that one too.

'No Value Now'? That's hard to imagine unless it was a consumable like paint or potato chips. What was it, out of curiosity?

Fight the case. You have a good chance of winning. Take a bunch of pictures of the new vs. used product and do a nice write up about how the buyer is trying to defraud you. Explain how he was dodgy with the eBay return process (chose to bypass it after requesting a return). etc, etc, etc..

Paypal tells you in the case details when you need to respond by. Waiting until the last minute to respond looks bad. I would get it taken care of as quickly as possible.

If you choose to fight it, they usually make a decision within 24-72 hours after you submit all your evidence.

But yes, if you can prove they used it or sent you the wrong one back... and that it's useless now... you can probably win.

Might be a pool filter.

For $300 dollars you should put up a fight. It's definitely worth a phone call, like phaz says submit your response promptly, I'd follow up with a phone call not long after you respond and try to get a human to look at it rather than a bot and close it down in your favor.

And tell us what happened, please, we'd love to know.

I had a dumbass send me back an ENTIRELY different car amplifier one time, than what I sold him. Some little piece of sh*t thing.

Took pics, showed paypal, won.

Fight it, like everyone has said to you, take pictures of the item you got back vs the one that you showed on PP.

Sometimes PP reps are useless, so try to call back and get one that has at least a working brain.
