Managing shipments on many accounts

Hi all,

So here's a situation:

If one has 25-30 accounts and gets anywhere between 1 to 4 sales a day on each account, how would he print labels in an effective way? Would a shipping software aid in that? I was thinking that it might actually take more time to download the file with sales than to print 1-2 labels, so idk.

How'd you manage that?

Thanks :pop2:

Carefully :)

For 1-4 sales I usually copy and paste into my Stamps.com program. Only takes a few seconds.

What do exactly do you copy and paste? And also, I have separate user accounts for each EB account on my laptop.

You get a sale notification from EB and one from PP in your email, you can get the sales details and shipping info there.

Or, I use Auctiva, I can log on and print labels directly from there or copy and paste the address, or download a csv.

I forward all my emails to one account, so I don't have to log on dozens of different emails, I just pull them from the one aggregate email account.

I'll be honest with you guys :)

I've never used any software and always printed labels from EB's main "selling" page so I don't have any experience with how it all works. Yet, in a nutshell, I want to know this:

1) Can I print labels without logging on eBay?

2) If I use a software, how would I know who bought what?

2) Is it possible to print labels more efficiency than in my current set-up?

I don't get a lot of sales per account, it's just I've many accounts. On average, I ship 2-3 packages per account. I have different laptop users for each account (Mac) and log onto different VPNs and time zones. All this takes quite some time. So I was wondering if I can optimize this somehow.

Thanks :)

For sure it's possible to be more efficient.

Here is how it works with stamps.com :
1) To be most efficient you start out by downloading their software. The web interface is slower and lacks a lot of the features the software has
2) You go into the "awaiting shipment" section of whatever eBay account you're working on
3) You hold down the "control" key, and click "print shipping label" for each order awaiting shipment. Each order opens in a new tab since you're holding down control
4) You copy the customer's address from each tab and put it into the stamps.com software, where you enter the weight and choose a USPS service.
5) After entering all addresses you click "select all", "print", and choose your printer
6) After the labels print you go back into eBay, select all orders by checking the checkbox on top, and click "add tracking number"
7) You look up each customer by name on the "add tracking number" page and enter their tracking number

If you have one account you get a lot of sales on, the stamps.com software can link to your eBay store. Then you can automatically import all your orders into the software and automatically post back tracking numbers to eBay. Forum wisdom says it's risky to link more than one eBay to one stamps.com.

Others can comment on shipstation. It's owned by stamps.com and is basically an extension of their software. I've heard it's possible to link multiple eBay stores to a single shipstation account using their "warehouse" feature.
