Re: Managing shipments on many accounts
For sure it's possible to be more efficient.
Here is how it works with stamps.com :
1) To be most efficient you start out by downloading their software. The web interface is slower and lacks a lot of the features the software has
2) You go into the "awaiting shipment" section of whatever eBay account you're working on
3) You hold down the "control" key, and click "print shipping label" for each order awaiting shipment. Each order opens in a new tab since you're holding down control
4) You copy the customer's address from each tab and put it into the stamps.com software, where you enter the weight and choose a USPS service.
5) After entering all addresses you click "select all", "print", and choose your printer
6) After the labels print you go back into eBay, select all orders by checking the checkbox on top, and click "add tracking number"
7) You look up each customer by name on the "add tracking number" page and enter their tracking number
If you have one account you get a lot of sales on, the stamps.com software can link to your eBay store. Then you can automatically import all your orders into the software and automatically post back tracking numbers to eBay. Forum wisdom says it's risky to link more than one eBay to one stamps.com.
Others can comment on shipstation. It's owned by stamps.com and is basically an extension of their software. I've heard it's possible to link multiple eBay stores to a single shipstation account using their "warehouse" feature.
