Default Authorize.net

Hello everybody.

New to forums but not new to eBay and Paypal BS. My questions is about using Authorize.net with eBay. Can I use one Authorize.net account with multiple eBay accounts or do I need a separate Authorize.net account for each? Also, can eBay see all of the user information in my authorize.net account? Has anyone dealt with this before? One last question, did anyone notice any slowdown in sales when using authorize.net vs paypal?

Thank you for the responses.

Default Re: Authorize.net

I just recently switched from paypal to Authorize.Net about a week ago. I can say its not worth it. It took me a week and half to set up the account. I went from making 500-1200 a day in sales to about 50 a day if i am lucky. You will get tons of messages as well since buyers cant pay on the ebay app and mobile browsers. They also cant purchase multiple items without doing seperate transactions. The filters on the fraud detection for Authorize.Net also decline alot of orders as well. Some people wont understand that you have to pay via desktop browser so you will have alot of unpaids. If you are thinking about using it temporarily than its fine but i do not think that its a long term solution . I am currently doing research on stealth and getting all my items together to make a stealth account .

^^100% agreed. (had a feeling you'd start seeing things my way after a while)

One Auth.net to one eBay. They get a lot less info about you from Auth.net compared to Paypal. But since you link your Auth.net to eBay with a unique API key, you wouldn't be able to use the same Auth.net account on more than one eBay.
