Do you call in to close return cases on ebay where customers do not ship items back in a reasonable time frame? i usually wait about 15 days after they open the request and have the label before closing the case. i seem to get alot of these and now i am starting to worry if ebay has an issue with this.
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
I just let them time-out on their own. I think it takes a month. A year or so ago I had 20+ returns open at the same time, all from buyers who bought the wrong model item. In my experience eBay doesn't care how many returns are open as long as you're handling them all promptly.
They resolve themselves over time just let them sit. No need to call and risk any further inspection . Unfortunate part of selling but half of my returns buyer never seems to send back.
Thanks i will go ahead and do that, how about cases opened up in resolution center for item not recieved but tracking shows delivery. Would you let that time out and get escalated on its own as well?
Without a doubt. I've never lost an INR case where tracking shows delivery. I tell the buyer something like "please escalate your case for review by eBay when you're given the opportunity. Since we've done everything neccessary to qualify for eBay's seller protection, eBay will usually step in and issue a refund without debiting our account."
