gmail or yahoomail leaks your ip .. which was the one that dont leak ?

Pretty sure gmail does NOT leak your IP meaning it would be yahoo.
I use gmail exclusively and have never had issues.

Pretty sure Yahoo is just as secure as Gmail since they're one of the largest email clients. All incoming and outgoing emails are routed through proxies before delivery.

Neither leak you IP address, they are both okay to use. I simply prefer gmail however.

Now if you use outlook or some local email client and don't set it up correctly it can leak your IP address (don't do that)

I prefer Gmail.

Yahoo is fine, but Gmail is generally better IMO

Depends how you use them. So when sending emails (and replying back to ebay messages via emails)....

If you use their online interface, both mask the IP.

If you use their mobile apps, both mask the IP.

If you use a 3rd party mail client, i.e. thunderbird, outlook, Apple mail etc., then GMAIL leaks your IP. Yahoo doesn't.

There is nothing to indicate this compromises accounts, but it is better to be safe than sorry.

Yahoo is the culprit. Never had an issue with Gmail.

What made you come to that conclusion, if you don't mind me asking? I don't believe it's correct. Regardless of how you view your emails they are routed through proxies. Email clients do this as a security feature, so hackers can't determine some poor sucker's IP address just by sending them an email. The proxy re-route happens long before an email is delivered to a users inbox. So there's no way your IP is revealed regardless of how you view your email.

I forget who it was but we tested it
i sent a email pretty sure it was yahoo and guy told me my real ip
then sent gmail and it was a universal ip gmail used .. I am about 99% this was the result being google was the one to use ..
I forget who it was guy on here
