Vmware help for beginner (user accounts)

1. I read on vm workstation that it costs 250 for the software, is this correct or is there a better price / alternative?


2. Also if I have someone on fiver put together a virtual computer on it, do I just create many user accounts like I do on my own personal computer, or is there a need for many virtual computers to access each of them?

3. Is it just possible to create many browsers (chrome, firefox, explorer , etc) within 1 user on my pc and use each for one ebay account and seperate that way? Or is there some other reason besides browser history that a separate user account is needed?

1) You can use VMWare Player, which is the free version of VMWare workstation. Virtualbox is another option which is free. Alternatively you can consider browsing torrents.

2) Personally I've always created a new virtual machine for each eBay/Paypal account. But, creating one virtual machine and then creating multiple user accounts on the VM (like you would do on a desktop if you weren't using VM's) would also work.

3) Yes that's possible but doing it that way is typically regarded as more difficult than using virtual machines or multiple user accounts.

I once downloaded vmware workstation cracked edition and the virtual machines would constantly delete or error out to no recovery. Is this typically a problem with virtual machines or was that just because i got a bad cracked copy?

Do you have a working link to vmware player? Is it the same quality wise for our purposes than using workstation?

For running stealth accounts VMWare Player is just as effective as VMWare Workstation. All we need is the ability to emulate an OS. Not all of the advanced features offered in the paid version of VMWare. Here's the download link for player direct from VMware : https://www.vmware.com/products/work...valuation.html

It says "evaluation" in the link but on the page it says: "The free version is available for non-commercial, personal and home use. We also encourage students and non-profit organizations to benefit from this offering. Commercial organizations require paid licenses to use Workstation Player."

It might have been a bad cracked copy you had, but it sounds more like there was some kind of configuration error when you created your VM's. Seems like a bad cracked copy would just ask for your software license and/or registration info, not delete all your VM's constantly.

The copy I use is the one with the most seeds on TPB. That one works.

Virtualbox is free and you can create as many virtual machines as you want

You can also download a official version of VMworkstation 10 from VMware's website... Then google keys for workstation 10... The 2nd key I tried worked... Im sure you can still find one that works. I dont think VMware kills published keys the way Microsoft does.

That would make sense but I've never played around with the free version so I can't say for sure. Just bootleg it or use other virtualization software.
