Do listings with reviews get better placement in search results?

I am noticing that the listings that have reviews attached to them (like in the screenshot below) sells more and are automatically placed upper in search results:

Is this true at all? Sometimes adjusting the listings's title, image or description will results in these stars appearing or disappearing.


Any ideas?

I'm going to assume that the 512+ sold, is what's getting it placed up high.
