helping wife listings

Hi guys I posted the other day asking if when using a VPN ip burger can I help my wife do the listings when shes not well i got replies saying it was ok, but now shes got her suspended account back that i was helping her on , i live in the uk my wife is over in the us no stealth being used or VPN ive done it before no problems i don't see why i couldn't still carry on helping her out with her listing when shes feeling unwell after a back operation .

Excuse my language, but eBay or any other major e-commerce corporation does not give a damn about your wife's back operation and the fact that you want to help her.

The only reason sellers exist on these platforms is to make eBay money. By you jumping in as an outsider, eBay must carry a risk and they don't like that.

The eBay formula is very simple: Potential customer --> Sale closed --> eBay gets a cut --> the customer comes back to eBay for more purchases and the cycle keeps going.


They suspend people accounts without a blink or a thought that these suspensions could literally destroy lives in many cases!

Sadly sellers are powerless against these arbitrary suspensions and can only hope that someday someone would intervene and make things right (which is probably unlikely to ever happen).


Anyway, your wife could give eBay a call and ask if they're o.k with you helping her. Who knows what the reps would say about it...
