eBay Question: How do I block buyers from California?

Due to warning requirements imposed in California by Proposition 65, I cannot ship any items to California. How do I block buyers from California?

I googled this before for other reasons. I didn't find much other than charging a unreasonable state sales tax but it doesn't sound legal to do. you could restrict the state in your listing and claim that you will cancel orders from that state and why. I had to do that when I sold stun-guns because state laws regarding them were different in different states, but I didn't run into any issues. If someone left you negative feedback for canceling the order ebay probably would NOT have your back.

I don't think there is a way.

I sell a product I cannot ship to MO, so I just state in my listing and cancel the occasional order.

This should be an option!

There are too many customers from California. Many cancellation of that order from CA may result in the suspension eBay account?

I think heavy taxation in CA is a best choice

You can't block 1 state. Just set a huge sales tax % for California. If someone does buy then cancel order but unlikley if huge tax

You don't have to use high tax to block them. You can use unreasonably high shipping costs for California instead. Create a shipping table where shipping is free to 49 states, but costs $49.99 to Cali.

That's a novel approach. There's no way to exclude CA, so that's probably the only realistic idea I've seen so far.
