Is this one of the sellers from the seller section? if so contact a moderator.
If this is someone who is NOT approved and you just dealt with someone who contacted you then theres nothing anyone can do about it.

I think he thinks I have ripped him off, even though I've had no contact with him.

I've just done some digging and he posted this message on my thread 3 days ago.
