And I don't think even that will work, unless they are real documents obtained fraudulently. If it's a 5-7 day application process that means they are digging deep into your selling practices, supplier information, and your personal identity.

Even with my merchant account the application process only took about 48 hours. 5-7 days is crazy. It seems like eBay is finally tired of stealth accounts, and they're getting rid of them.

If eBay really abolishes PayPal in 2023 it could be 10 times harder to run stealth accounts to say the least.

Ayden could be like Amazon with the seller having to provide SS# and a working bank account right at signup. This becomes very problematic because Amazon is known to dig into the bank information you give them if you start doing serious volume and ban people if the bank info does not match the signup info. So with stealth you won't ever be able to grow stealth accounts into massive, profitable accounts possibly.

All you people on here that were in celebration and so happy to see PayPal gone in the future when eBay broke the news of it in 2018 I'm sure will regret the golden age of stealth accounts that PayPal made possible.

Adyen more than likely will make operating costs for running stealth accounts go way up and that's not even considering the fate of each account. What I fear is that if they do their own internal risk assessment like a credit card processor and want to run a credit check on you. If they decide to do so and very probable for accounts doing big volume.

It's possible that only the no life relentlessly hard working cut throat enigmas are going to be able to survive with stealth on Adyen.

It is much easy to open Ayden account then PayPal they don't care much as PayPal what you sell as longer you have a case and fix it or make the refund they will never ever close your account not like PayPal.And is taking 5-to 7 days to have the account not bucose they check all your information and they need that time the reason is that they don't have so much people working fro them at the moment but when they start to work with eBay you all will see that time will be down to up to 48 hours max i know i person who worked for them .

I don't envision Ayden to be as strict as Paypal, I mean who are they ? we have only heard about them ... not in the beginning anyway. Paypal has spent many many years analyzing data and their procedures.

I don't think any one should stress about it just yet.

It seems like they want social and ID for all accounts. that pretty much would eliminate all stealth accounts if that is the case.

They're the payment platform used by some of the biggest online businesses so they're just as experienced as Paypal. The conversion certainly won't be making things any easier...

A couple members have been throwing around the idea of creating identities from scratch and saying that it's technically a legal thing to do. Sounds complicated.
