advise please

hi,

i was blocked off ebay about 11-12 years ago, i had two accounts which both got blocked, first one due to a bad buyer and the second because they found about about first.

i ran ebay up and they told me to pay the outstanding money of £3ish before they would look into it.

once paid they told me they can't see why it was banned and nor can they reinstate as its been over 10 years.

what would happen if i was to open a new account now?

Not sure why that would happen but your in the right place but the Stealth Book and learn.

Welcome to the forum OP.

If you open a proper stealth account nothing will happen related to the previous account. You will be operating the brand new stealth account as a new eBay/PayPal member.

New account on exactly the same details runs a high chance of being banned.

If things like the address are different now then it's possible to get back on. You would need to know how though. (stealth guide will help)

Failing that you can just go full stealth.

problem is i only have the same mailing account as previously.

You can just go down the route of all stealth details, but your real address

Another option is to have 2 accounts. Own just for buying with your address on it and the other for selling with a stealth address in it

hi,

ok so i have been using a friends account who doesnt have ebay, he is the registered keeper etc but i have my delivery address and paypal linked on there, i have been using it for say 2 years and it hasn't been banned.

can i change the registered address to me? or will it get banned reason i want to do this is i sold a phone the other day which was damaged in post so person returned to his address but nobody is ever home!!!
