Few accounts were banned for buying off eBay; now I'd like to start selling.

Hi, I had a few accounts that were banned/suspended previously for contacting buyers and buying off eBay. Now I'd like to start selling items on eBay. I have opened up an LLC/S-CORP and would like to start building up an account. Do I need to use stealth to open up a new account to start selling? Or can I just make an eBay business account and go?

Stealth or fresh stealth ebay business account would work - just don't use old info

Thanks for the reply. Do I definitely need to go stealth? Would they ban me if i just made a new account with LLC and new information? But kept my name and phone #

If you're reusing the phone number, that's a definite link.

Name, depends how common it is.

You ought to read the stealth guide, will be more helpful.

thanks for the reply. another question, my business address is registered to the apartment i'm in (which was on the buyer account that was suspended). when filling my address if i use the same address but dont the apartment number, will that suffice? thanks

Perhaps - if you ensure EVERYTHING else is different. Ideally you want everything to be different.

Any reason why you need this (seller) account to be your own address? Usually you'd want to do that if you were a buyer.

I'd still recommend you read the stealth guide, else you may make mistakes along the way.

Start everything fresh and new. Use the stealth guide. You will need to do this eventually, best to learn now and start getting used to the methods.

I'm going to be selling high-value items on eBay. I need to use eBay legitimately. I'm going to need to be in contact with them if there's scam buyers or any other things go wrong. Do you need to provide your name if you're using an LLC / S-Corp?

Your old account info can't be reused period.

You really need to start from the beginning and actually understand how this works.

You'll treat the stealth account just like a normal account.

High-value items....you will need to slowly build your account(s) for that. Spread sales among several stealth accounts.

couldn't agree more.

my suggestion is to buy just 1 account and use it until you feel comfortable and then you may have as many accounts as you want.

If he is going to buy an account, but he doesn't have the foundation of operating one yet, I recommend buy one, put it in the back burner and create an account to practice with.

This way he doesn't make a mistake with the account he bought.
