Default Only selling and never buying on your eBay accounts!

I just thought, some people are likely to never buy anything on their stealth eBay accounts, as it would got to their Stealth address and often they do not have access to it.

Could this not look suspicious to eBay, now I am not saying everyone who only uses eBay to sell is going to get suspended but if they were building a case against you then surely it would only add.

What you recon?

Edit: Should have made myself a little clearer, I meant this mainly towards "private" sellers who appear as just sellers and do not buy a thing with their eBay accout EVER lol because they can't!

Hope you understand now, imagine a private account 12 months down the line with over 1000 hours spent logged into it, over 250 selling transactions and 0 buying transactions

Probably common amongst many stealth accounts.

Wouldnt be an issue if operating just business accounts though.

Might look bit suspicious with a private account selling lots yes however as long as their not linked with your others and go down who cares in the grand scheme of things lol

if anything just buy a few things once in a while.. and just ask seller to ship it to a diff add or sum or to a neutral add just in case things go wrong and they put it up on the case taht they shipped it to your house add(address previously suspended)

Yeah I agree, I do but things like this and using other methods but I said it more to open the majority of people who don't realise this because they were to busy selling selling selling which eBay will notice.

How many real "private" sellers spend more than a 1000 hours a year on eBay and don't buy a single item

Anyway it was just somethine I wanted to throw out there.

I don't think so, not for a registered business account selling through an ebay store anyway. I think it looks more professional if you're buyers only see sellers feedback.

hmm good point i was just about to post something like that.. why i came back to this post...

selling feedback helps buyers n ebay see what your selling*(unless private)
and also gives them your *status* as to where you are..
so yea i think it would look pretty good actually if you have 10000 fb on a business accnt

I did originally only mean this applies to 'private' ebay sellers and not 'business'. I edited it into my post a while back.

Which lets face it, 99% of the stealth community are private sellers and not business sellers.

This has nothing to do with seller feedback at all. This is about eBay seeing like hundreds of sales in one year and NO purchases. Obvious or what?

I am not saying that we should all start buying stuff on our accounts.

Aspkin and a lot of the forum users preach about appearing to be a new eBay member because you have to, you would either be a new eBay member, someone suspended registering again or someone opening a business account.

Not buying anything would be obvious to eBay, especially when you are selling regularly and obviously for profit.

But surely you can see how strange it would look, to start it would obviously look as if you are selling as a business. But because this is common amongst stealth accounts and not really any others, this becomes a basis for eBay to check your account etc
