Default eBay withholding policy guidelines

I've just had my listing removed for the second time for beaching policy.

I relisted it after the first removal because the removal did not apply to any of the policy guidelines set out in the policy link in the email I received.

I went on chat to complain about this after the second removal and was told my listing breached a policy guideline that is not published and therefore I couldn't have known about.

Is this even allowed, it seemed like they were making it up as the conversation went along.

Yep they pretty much do make things up as they go sometimes

If something gets listed and removed its never a good idea to relist the item again as it will nearly always get taken down again

I know, but since I hadn't breached any of the policy guidelines set out in the first email I thought I had grounds to argue it if removed again.

There had be 11 days between both removals so I think it's due to a competitor reporting it rather than an automated system flag.

I want to relist but know I shouldn't, it's a real account with my details and I don't want a permaban.

Stealth is so expensive. Gah!

I just wouldnt try your luck relisting it again. It would end up just getting a suspension or perm ban.

Stealth isnt really that expensive and the increase in sales more than makes up for it I find.
