Creating an eBay Seller Account
I've read several posts about trying to get high selling limits on account creation, many of them old, talking about creating a seller account right away (rather than a buyer account).
As far as I can see, at least the way it is lately, the only way to create a "seller account" is to actually go ahead and list an item for sale. One can't even see selling limits until one lists a first item.
What puzzles me is that, when I purchased a stealth account recently, although no items had been listed for sale...there came a message from eBay literally 5 minutes after the account's creation stating that the selling limits had been reviewed and upgraded from 10 --> 1,000 items and the value limit from 1,000 --> 25,000 dollars.
I question how it is even possible for there to have been selling limits in the first place if the account had never listed an item for sale(?)
Would anyone have an idea?
