I've had another seller target me and try to get me banned for A year playing dirty tricks. Found out through connects I had inside of eBay.

Big marketplaces can have a pretty dark side when you start making money, got to learn to navigate the muddy waters and keep it moving.

If they aren't helping you pay your bills, they aren't worth your time. Cut your losses and keep it moving.

That's what I try to live by, but its hard sometimes when someone targets you for no reason

Worst ones are the ones who give sob stories. I had one lady want a $180 item....told me some sob story about she had 5 kids, and blah, blah, blah.....made me want to tell her to maybe spend her money on her kids food, clothes before buying an expensive electronic item.

One new accounts, low priced item, i can admit to refunding immediately on particulars. Same account on higher end items, paid return shipping label via stamps dot com rather through eBay to avoid stealth address. Each case i got zero negs.

How about the ones who buy something then 8 hours later ask when it's going to ship?

I remember it like it was yesterday.....one of my first sales on ebay....some crazy person messaged me on a sunday asking me why their package had not been shipped. Stupid ass had bought the item Saturday night, had to tell them that the post office was not open on Sunday.

Here's another one.

Having an order shipped to a hotel and then telling you they have to leave before the item arrives.

Classic.

I've never minded those orders, but I always tell the customer we can't control USPS so we can't guarantee our delivery dates. We've even sent a few shipments to foreigners on cruise ships as they are in port in the US. The shipping address will include the days the ship is in port lol.

LOL actually just remembered getting in a pissing match with one guy.

The bassturd wouldn't let me have last word and the conversation went on for about 3 days.

You've had customers want their order shipped to a hotel where they won't be staying?

Someone who buys something from a hotel room then has to leave in 3 days is an idiot, even if it's shipped priority lol.

The clerks don't know wtf is going on so it doesn't get refused. Then the buyers PO'd at you.

Refused or not, no one gonna refund the postage + restocking fee ha
