Hi,
As tittle says, everyone who had problems with vero strikes,
I have few questions for you.
I'm dev, and creating some unique software to bypass VeRO,
If you have time could you list all your strikes with date? |

| I have few ebay accounts and listed some high VeRO items simply to get strike and compare Date, Time, Keywords, Reports and lot of more stuff.
Automated bot (Software) will work based on certain specific things, listing indexing and as i said main-role play keywords, there is multiple ideas for my project i'm working on.
If someone could help (PM)me to list all VeRO strikes you got with date-time would be really helpful and may grant you to join my project. |

Vero strikes are not always automated as you might think. Listings could be flagged for a manual review. |

I selling high risk item on ebay. sometimes long run but sometimes shut down very quickly.

| Yes you are right 30%, but there is milions of illegal items on ebay. Imagine how many sellers break rules? And not even getting suspended? There is plenty of sellers who using tools to boost sales.
If you read my reply above, there is many ideas that will work all-togather meaning that ebay VERO Members would not even able to view item, why?
because of item indexing in system. Program is automated to change things every minute ():
Group of people are working on this project, not only single one. (Even some who work on EBAY, lmao.)

Much of it is automated, but there are human reviewers (agents) working on behalf of the rights owners that do most of the takedowns. eBay rarely takes things down themselves.
It all depends on so many things. It's not really that simple. There is no magic formula that works all the time.
The forum is not about discussing HOW to circumvent VeRO. If you think you can outsmart them, go ahead but expect to get through quite a few accounts with your whack-a-mole approach. |

I think you're the one who's misunderstanding.
You yourself said the listing details would be constantly changing to avoid detection. That's not going to work with the way eBay indexes listings. Using your method listings would change so often they would never be indexed and never show up in search results. |

Every time you revise a listing, it will theoretically get re-indexed. In practice though, revising a well established listing for the very few first times will not affect its position in search results, but once you revise it a few times in a short time period, it will be flushed down quickly and sometimes to the original placement where it was at the time of its creation.
To avoid Vero-Bots you need to remove red-flags from your title, pictures, item's description as well as item's specifics. All these parameters could land you on the radar.
Bulletproofing a listing is nearly impossible unless you get your store's ID white-listed by the rights owner through supplying invoices. Keep in mind that even if you get white-listed by the rights owner, listing items for low prices that don't make sense for an original item will also land you in hot water.
I see a lot of sellers who copycat original brand-items, but with minimal modifications in design and then branding that new product as their own. Some fail and some succeed in a fantastic way. |

| For OP to accomplish what they're describing (being able to sell counterfeits without being detected, which I think is impossible regardless) they would have to have at least the brand name + listing title change pretty frequently, I would think...
I think OP is running on the assumption that most VeRO takedowns are done by bots, when they aren't. :rolleyes: |

Huh, okay.... is there a difference between selling something VERO in bulk vs cleaning out your garage? Always wondered about that.
Doesn't make sense because ebay used to be for selling your old stuff to which isn't almost everything outside of wholesale VERO? Definitely missing something here ha. |

It's long been known eBay's algorithm looks at things like how many of the same item(s) you are selling. If you are selling multiples of a particular item, you will eventually bring attention to your account. You can be sure of that.
This is another reason why having multiple stealths is so important. Diluting sales across those accounts, allowing you to sell more without bringing that attention. |

Makes total sense. I remember when they pushed the big product identifiers movement 2 winters ago. Tried scaring sellers by saying their listings would be harder to find because buyers search by UPC, MPN, etc.

For smaller owners, they have a person or 2 to scour the search and just look for listings to take down even if they don't have UPC honestly. |
