| | | pety55 | 12-11-2018 11:55 PM | Everyone who had VeRO Strike are welcome! Hi,
As tittle says, everyone who had problems with vero strikes,
I have few questions for you.
I'm dev, and creating some unique software to bypass VeRO,
If you have time could you list all your strikes with date? |
Re: Everyone who had VeRO Strike are welcome! Bypass VERO.......people, comment with a grain of salt. |

youd make alot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ just selling this service if you actually figured it out :cheer: | I have few ebay accounts and listed some high VeRO items simply to get strike and compare Date, Time, Keywords, Reports and lot of more stuff.
Automated bot (Software) will work based on certain specific things, listing indexing and as i said main-role play keywords, there is multiple ideas for my project i'm working on.
If someone could help (PM)me to list all VeRO strikes you got with date-time would be really helpful and may grant you to join my project. |

| poimo | 12-12-2018 01:07 AM | Re: Everyone who had VeRO Strike are welcome! I selling high risk item on ebay. sometimes long run but sometimes shut down very quickly.
I think case by case even same high risk item. |

Imagine how many sellers break rules? And not even getting suspended? There is plenty of sellers who using tools to boost sales.
If you read my reply above, there is many ideas that will work all-togather meaning that ebay VERO Members would not even able to view item, why?
because of item indexing in system. Program is automated to change things every minute ():
Group of people are working on this project, not only single one. (Even some who work on EBAY, lmao.)
I have unique method that are proven to work against VeRO, but this post is
just intended to expand cognition. |

Hi, Could you PM me about your listings (), I would investigate it.
I'm unable to send PM because i don't have 25 Posts :| |

| nickopedia | 12-12-2018 02:38 AM | Re: Everyone who had VeRO Strike are welcome! Much of it is automated, but there are human reviewers (agents) working on behalf of the rights owners that do most of the takedowns. eBay rarely takes things down themselves.
It all depends on so many things. It's not really that simple. There is no magic formula that works all the time.
The forum is not about discussing HOW to circumvent VeRO. If you think you can outsmart them, go ahead but expect to get through quite a few accounts with your whack-a-mole approach. |

Listing is alive 24/7. |
| phaz0rz | 12-13-2018 07:47 AM | Re: Everyone who had VeRO Strike are welcome! I think you're the one who's misunderstanding.
You yourself said the listing details would be constantly changing to avoid detection. That's not going to work with the way eBay indexes listings. Using your method listings would change so often they would never be indexed and never show up in search results. |
| Sunspot144 | 12-13-2018 10:05 AM | Re: Everyone who had VeRO Strike are welcome! What parts of the listing do you change to cause it to be re-indexed? More than keywords?
Asking cause I think understanding search as much as possible proves beneficial. |

Every time you revise a listing, it will theoretically get re-indexed. In practice though, revising a well established listing for the very few first times will not affect its position in search results, but once you revise it a few times in a short time period, it will be flushed down quickly and sometimes to the original placement where it was at the time of its creation.
To avoid Vero-Bots you need to remove red-flags from your title, pictures, item's description as well as item's specifics. All these parameters could land you on the radar.
Bulletproofing a listing is nearly impossible unless you get your store's ID white-listed by the rights owner through supplying invoices. Keep in mind that even if you get white-listed by the rights owner, listing items for low prices that don't make sense for an original item will also land you in hot water.
I see a lot of sellers who copycat original brand-items, but with minimal modifications in design and then branding that new product as their own. Some fail and some succeed in a fantastic way. |
| phaz0rz | 12-13-2018 10:32 AM | Re: Everyone who had VeRO Strike are welcome! ^^Agreed. Quote:

Asking cause I think understanding search as much as possible proves beneficial. | For OP to accomplish what they're describing (being able to sell counterfeits without being detected, which I think is impossible regardless) they would have to have at least the brand name + listing title change pretty frequently, I would think...
I think OP is running on the assumption that most VeRO takedowns are done by bots, when they aren't. |
| SaiJin | 12-13-2018 10:52 AM | Re: Everyone who had VeRO Strike are welcome! Well, still interesting to see if it works or not regardless.
I wanna be open minded to this for now |

I think that you guys are like crowd who trying to pull information from me, giving your selfs "Thanks" for no reason, but i won't share anything more...
That's just my proved opinion, VeRO can be bypassed if you know what you are doing. |

That's just my proved opinion, VeRO can be bypassed if you know what you are doing. | Bit of a give and take. Have to give first though.
(Dont worry, they didn't like my script either - although I think it does work in some cases :P) |

(Dont worry, they didn't like my script either - although I think it does work in some cases :P) | Couple things here:
1. Your script doesn't require a login to an account. The OP so called app or script would require access to the account, do I know the OP? NO! so why would I allow any program that a new user wrote on my accounts. Granted, Could be tested on a low value account for testing purposes.
2. This App/Script would be "changing" the listing often, now.....how often do people make modifications to their listings? maybe a few and that's it. If ebay start's to see that your listing is being modified a lot of times, ebay may take actions like limiting the account because it may think your account is being hacked.
3. The OP or members on this forum can only speculate on when VERO agents file their claims, and how long after those claims are made does ebay actually take action. |

In any case I acknowledge your points.

OP take a hike ya bum! | No Scolding at all, just pointing out the difference. Like I said, we don't know the OP but if he in any way is even remotely successful then good for him/her.
Here's an interesting youtube video pertaining to VERO. |
| Sunspot144 | 12-13-2018 07:46 PM | Re: Everyone who had VeRO Strike are welcome! Huh, okay.... is there a difference between selling something VERO in bulk vs cleaning out your garage? Always wondered about that.
Doesn't make sense because ebay used to be for selling your old stuff to which isn't almost everything outside of wholesale VERO? Definitely missing something here ha. |
| nickopedia | 12-13-2018 08:10 PM | Re: Everyone who had VeRO Strike are welcome! It's long been known eBay's algorithm looks at things like how many of the same item(s) you are selling. If you are selling multiples of a particular item, you will eventually bring attention to your account. You can be sure of that.
This is another reason why having multiple stealths is so important. Diluting sales across those accounts, allowing you to sell more without bringing that attention. |

You're right about the "thanks" though. I run every account posting in this thread with the exception of yours, OP. I go around thanking my own aspkin forum posts all day for kicks. | Dude if you are too smart, why you came here and still replying? You are inessential to conversation.
You act like charlatan, texting and bulling others without any intelligence. I would suggest you to stick selling old garage items and "Stay away in time", reheating thread with no-reason.

Pure curiousity tbh. Don't do stealth but I've learned loads of great info here - used a prepaid CC to buy / inspect products from a small competitor lol (he threw first punch, think he regrets it now ) |

I believe many trademark owner search via UPC.

| Sunspot144 | 12-14-2018 12:45 PM | Re: Everyone who had VeRO Strike are welcome! Makes total sense. I remember when they pushed the big product identifiers movement 2 winters ago. Tried scaring sellers by saying their listings would be harder to find because buyers search by UPC, MPN, etc.
What a load of bull lol |

All things are possible. | UPC is indeed easier to find when it's available.
For smaller owners, they have a person or 2 to scour the search and just look for listings to take down even if they don't have UPC honestly. |
