They won't be able to link your account from dropbox links in messages. Just make different dropbox accounts if you are paranoid.

Ebay does not monitor your ebay messages even if you have url in it,
But if someone reports you, they have the privilege and insight to view your all messages and examine your account, most things are trigged by customers itself
