Default Ebay and your own website

Is there any way that someone can be directed to an Ebay sellers website? Someone said use the "aboutme" tab but that seems to not be an option anymore.

Business cards or include in description something like "to find out more product info go to our website" but not actually include a link.

OK so business cars are good. So are you saying the reason for no link and just the typed addy is because the link can trigger some kind of hit for ebay to see?

Yea, ebay doesnt want sellers including hyperlinks in their descriptions to their own websites selling the product.

You CAN include hyperlinks to websites for more info on the product as long as the site doesn't also sell the product.

Doesn't say you can't make a reference to your own website and the buyer just has to search for it in google, but just to be safe I'd go with "for more info"

I agree with a biz card in the package. It's the best and most effective way actually.

Awesome. So my case I think is kind of different in that I am not interested in selling any of the products I list off site only the ones that they have banned. All my products are legal but a few are just not allowed on Ebay/.

Business cards could be a good option in your case. Ebay of all places has the lowest prices for bulk business cards

Simply put the reference in the description. NO HYPERLINKS as others have stated. That's the fast way to get your account restricted. Also you can put it in the item condition if listing as New (other).
From experience selling on eBay, some buyers don't quite read the full description of the items they are buying. You'll need to make sure that the reference is easy to spot. But only for one or two items.

Don't make it too easy for eBay patrol.

For sure... Ebay has once or twice said policies are more like guidelines used at their own discretion. Happens if you find yourself in a grey area.
