1000/25000 Limit wtf

So a friend of mine was in deep financial trouble so I set up an ebay acct for her and listed one item. Was going to season it, even though she has had her paypal for years. So I listed that one item 10 days ago and it has not sold.

So today she gets this message.

We reviewed your selling account and we have some great news for you. ow you can list even more items every month! How many?

What the heck, All my new accounts are getting 5/500 for 2 months.

Oh yeah one more thing, the one item was a Vero Item. LOL

It is real information and real telephone number. Should have been 1000/25K to begin with. That is the lowest real account limits. Some are 1 billion

Hi it is bucose the PayPal is old and you link it to the eBay account nothing new it is normal.It is the same like you open a E bay account now sell only one item and dont used it for 1 year and when you start to sell it again you will see how they will rise limit fast.

IF 1000/25000 is what it should be why does my neighbor who set up a new account will all real info get a 5/500 limit.

Might have to do with the phone number he used. If he used any of the free virtual number available out there he would have gotten those low limits.

AT&T and the only difference was new paypal, the other paypal was 5 years old, so methinks paypal and ebay are sharing that info.

Yeah, I have had a few 10/1000s do that after the first listing. It just happens for some reason. But Congratz!

I get 1000 items/25k on new accounts on a regular basis. It beats the hell out of seasoning a 5/500 or 10/1000 account.

After testing some methods, it's really that easy to get those kinds of limits
the least you can get is that 1,000/$25,000. Saves you a lot of $$ off from buying accounts hehe

But still, you cannot list that much in 1-3 months period. So it still okay to get those lower limits to start of with
