Anybody messaged the eBay CEO and got re-instated ?
 

I discovered a directory (ceoemail dot com) with emails and numbers and addresses from ebay managers to the ceo.

I was thinking about writing a lengthy professional email to see whether my legit accounts can get re-instated ? (don't worry I am still concentrating on my stealth accounts before you go mad)

Has it ever been done successfully ?

One thing for sure, if I successfully mature my stealths with no issues. I don't think I will care about my legit accounts never getting re-instated, I don't want the stress of going to bed thinking will my account get suspended today. And if it does how will I pay my bills etc.

Stealth buys you that security. One goes down, you have another to rely on.

But as it stands, I want to give it a try. Can any one point me to a professional email/letter template I could use and modify ?

I suspect that the CEO of eBay will merely just give your letter to another member of the executive team to be handled, as in moist large companies is likely the case.

Sure, there may be some CEO's who do read emails from their customers, such as Jeff Bezos of Amazon, but even Jeff can't read them all and likely has lots of help.

I find that getting your case into eBay's "executive escaltions" is as simple as filing a "BBB" case, or the equivalent in the UK called the Trading Standards Office.

Have you run your case by the ombudsman such as Trading Standards or Citizens Advice?

Not trying to boast here, recently got in trouble on Ebay with number of cancellations and fell below standard. I've gone months on end with a 6,000 listing limit. I got recently reviewed for the account's selling status and whoever reviewed the account bumped the limits up to 2B selling / dollar amount.

With how Ebay is mirroring Amazon, trying to be still relevant, there's good reason to believe they want all the sellers they can keep. And it may also entail turning a blind eye for an occasional blip on an account i.e. limitations for poor performance.

Cant be of much help getting them back, but if you do it's well worth having them at your dispense. Going legit isnt as easy as piggybacking on established brand names, but scalability is certainly there too.

Ebay has more sellers than buyers,I have yet heard of a suspended seller begging his way back by writing to the CEO.
But I know a lady who stood outside Ebay headqtr with a sign and wont go away until Ebay reinstated her,and it worked.
Her problem is that she just lost control selling too many cheap jewelry,and she even allowed her mother on her deathbed run one of her accounts and of course after her death,she cant ship from heaven.
Other cases like a seller got very sick and was in hospital and fail to ship,Ebay asked for doctor letter and hospital bills.

It wasn't the CEO I emailed, but I got re-instated. But that guy no longer works there.

I wrote him a letter a few years ago. He (or his assistant) wrote back and gave me a long-winded answer as to why they couldn't reinstate my account.

Yeah, a legitimate excuse usually helps. But not always.
