Global shipping full refund for damaged in transit?

Hi I'm considering buying a fragile item from the states. I want it shipped via global shipping program as they refund all costs if damaged in transit. This item cost 229£ Inc postage. If it arrives damaged will I receive a full refund for this amount? Without having to return or get seller involved? I send alot via gsp but only up to 60£ ish. And if an items damaged it just goes straight through for a full refund. I just want to make sure. As the chances of it getting damaged are fairly high.

you have to speak to the Ebay US seller,if he signs up for GSP,then he will ship to Erlanger,Kentucky with tracking,if it arrives safe and sound with tracking,his responsibilty ends there.
then GSP takes over,repack and ship to you ,GSP has its own insurance policy.
if your item is prohibited for import or export,or exceeds size allowed or impossible to pack and ship,it will refund you the money,allow the seller to keep his and sell it to a local dealer and that local dealer will list it on Ebay.
