PP has claim it now so where do you guys buy your labels? shipstation?

Paypal rates are cheaper this year. By 0.20 for Priority Flat Rate. Pirateship is free and has CPP. It estimated AMZ api support in Q4 2018 but may happen this quarter now.

Why would that matter when you're saying you can't use your balance anyway?

Withdraw $ then buy postage on shipstation, stamps, pirateship, easypost, etc with your debit card. Almost all of them will link to your eBay account and pull/postback orders automatically.

I get bookoo credit card points from postage buys. :redface:

Because I have paypals that don't have claim it but all my selling paypals has claim it.

They're all going to have it sooner or later so you'll eventually have to change the way you handle postage. There are at least a few benefits to doing postage outside of eB/PP.

Back when I was using eBay shipping there were several postage classes missing. Flat Rate rates were there but not regional rates or cubic. They also didn't give you access to CPP.

if you have a UPS account then the 6x4 labels are free as well as the letter size 2 label sheets.

If you have Fedex account you can get free labels from them also, but they are on top of how many you order and use with them.

I have not bought any shipping labels for 9 years.

I use the same method, but I try not to post about it too much because I don't want UPS in particular to catch on and shut it down.

@rsot, all you need is a UPS account. You don't even have to ship with them. Higher volume UPS shippers are able to order cases of 5000 4x6 labels, everyone else is capped at rolls of 940.

There are still thousands of UPS labels being sold on eBay every day. Including the fanfold cases of 5000, the 6.25x4" rolls of 940, and the 6x4" rolls of 320.

One time I had to buy on eBay because I didn't have enough free ones. I messaged the seller asking if it was the UPS labels because I know those kind won't get jammed in my printer, and he confirmed they were, lol.

Heh, they dont.

I'm currently applying for one to see if the PP cash back will stack with other CCs.

If it works I can get 2% cash back through PP then pay the credit or negative balance with another 2.5% CB CC. :dance:

Your credit card issuers will shut you down real quick. Oldest CC scheme in the book lol.

Paying credit cards with credit cards for extra points/CB never works.

Like I said, it showed up for me once but only once. Maybe it triggers a review of your account after they let you order one case. I unno.

There's no way UPS doesn't know what's going on. They're probably providing half of the shipping labels in USPS's mail stream. I think they let it go on as a tax write off.

It should work. CC accounts take bank withdrawals for payments. No option to add a CC as a payment option. But you can pay balances with PP, so a CC might work.

They last forever. Lol. Got 5000 one time and the options been greyed out since. I dont feel guilty though, figure how many incoming shipments I do with UPS, the free labels are complementary lol.

sunspot - IRDK because I haven't tried, but good luck. I thought about trying something similar one time, ended up on a credit forum reading horror stories from people who had one or both of their cards closed after trying it in one form or another.

Just to be clear, what are you talking about using? A PP debit card or a PP credit card? You want to rack up a negative balance in your PP account using the PP debit card, then pay that balance down with a credit card? You'd have to be using the PP credit card for that right? Since debit won't go into negatives?

Fedex are dicks about it.

I did answer the call and the lady was nice about it but made it very clear I wouldn't be receiving any more supplies from Fedex unless I used all the supplies I was ordering for Fedex shipments originating from my Fedex account. :rolleyes:

What does "quantity exceeded mean"? Are you not allowed to order any more of those?

They'll only let me order one of each roll every 30 days. Once I've ordered on the 1st it'll say "quantity exceeded" until it's the next month and they allow me to order more. Not sure why it's giving me the option to order a small roll since we just got one of each last week. Maybe I'm allowed to order more than 1 small roll. Never tried.

Would use the PP credit card (2% cashback mastercard) for purchases.

Instead of using a PP balance or bank account, the only payment option would be a 2.5% Alliant credit card.

Reading said you can have 0 PP balance, the Mastercard will draw from bank account.

I have no idea if it will work. But 4.5% extra profit back on business expenses is awesome.

Mine says it for some shiit I've never even ordered lol... "UPS WorldShip Peel-and-Stick Labels - (4 per Sheet)

My next order from them will be the 6,000 fanfold. That should last me like a year, so I wont bother them again for a while.
