Below standard How I can remove it I called in and they said I have to watch my selling activity and this is the only way I could take it away they absolutely charge insane fees or just move to a new account |
| SaiJin | 06-03-2019 06:15 PM | Re: Below standard Below standard will drop off I think after 1 month or 2 months?
For some reason I can't remember correctly, but as long as you ship fast and get good feedback it'll reset on its own.
Anyone else with more current experience in below standard? |
Re: Below standard If that the case I can just put it on a side until it cool off in a meantime start with new account I sell stuff quickly these below standards fees almost taken half of my profit |

Just get your act together, it's not difficult. | 14-10%=4% difference |
| yankee | 06-04-2019 07:52 AM | Re: Below standard Why are you going below standard?
In all honesty, if you cant stay above standard, you should look for another stream of income. It is hack sellers that cause us good sellers grief. You have to be a real hack to fall below standard and it can be very hard to get above standard. |
Re: Below standard I think anyone can go below standards for some reason I just asked a question if u don’t have a positive input please keep ur opinion |
| phaz0rz | 06-04-2019 10:23 AM | Re: Below standard It's not "some reason" it's terrible customer service causing you to go below standard.
There's nothing positive to say about a seller who can't stay on top of their obligations as a seller. You got your answer. Switching to other accounts will have no effect unless you address the underlying problems causing you to go below standard. |
| SaiJin | 06-04-2019 10:23 AM | Re: Below standard There's no reason to berate this guy.... he is asking about below standard issue, **** happens.
So play nice or don't play at all. |

And I wasn't directing this towards you, Phazor, but everyone in this thread that did.
END of conversation, stop talking off subject and heed my advice. |
| agent006140 | 06-04-2019 03:26 PM | Re: Below standard not all who falls below standard are bad sellers, many of us are loners doing everything from A to Z,some got sick and hospitalised and there is no backup.
Ebay is known to ask for hospital record and doctor letter to reinstate sellers.
Some are a couple ,it is nice 2 can do more than one,but one does 50% of the work ,so when the other is sick, the other has to pick up the workload plus taking care of the sick,I know 2 sisters who are retired dealers and one died !!!! |

Yes,it has. | When, who or how?
Source of this info?

| agent006140 | 06-05-2019 08:17 AM | Re: Below standard thats from a seller who has been selling on Ebay for years,he has to submit hospital record and letter from doctor plus insurance claims he submitted.
Another seller allowed her mother to use one of her seller ID to sell on her death bed,she was already in trouble with Ebay ,so this kind of put the final nail to her Ebay career.
She ended up standing outside Ebay headquarter with a large cardboard sign until Ebay reinstated her.
She sold sterling silver jewelry starting bid 99 cents,at first they went well, final bids were always good but then 99 cents auction ended as 99 cents ,you know the rest.
She no longer sell on Ebay, she went back to her profession as an IT worker .
(Now you have AMZN and Etsy, but back then,Ebay is the only game in town for individual selling in most categories) if selling on internet is major source of income. |

Good grief Sai, it was on topic. It was honest. It is fact. We answered his questions. Nobody was negative, just honest.
My suggestion to you as a moderator is to Ban agent. He spreads so much miss-information. He is a black eye on this forum. |

EBay reviews these cases on a case by case basis, just because you re ignorant of how to get reinstated thru persistence and perseverance,of course you have to be a good long time seller /
Ebay does not include such in its terms, like if you are dying or very ill,we will do this and that.
Paypal policy differs,as it has more to lose . |

Read that back to yourself and ask yourself 'how did she get from her death bead to ebay headquarters to fight for re-instatement'. :sleepy::sleepy::sleepy:
Please stop posting pointless gibberish. | I did not say she was selling on her deathbed, she allowed her mother who is on her deathbed to use one of her accounts to sell.
It is actually very sad,her parents are divorced, and when her father past away,he did not leave them a dime.
Her mother watched her struggling to sell on Ebay to survive, before she past away, she realised she has not help her daughter ,so she expressed an interest to learn how to sell.her daughter obliged,of course it is not wise decision, but when yo realised you are going to lose your loved one,you decide to grant her last wish.
She was already in trouble with her other Ebay selling accounts,so this death wish put the final nail in her coffin.
She actually stood outside the Ebay headquarter with a sign and finally got back to selling.
She got her IT job back,I dont think she is selling anymoe,at least not with her old id.
You guys should crawl out of this cocoon and go to Ebay and PAYPAL forums and find out the sellers/buyers on Ebay from retirees downsizing, unemployed doing full time, kids, weekend warriors, brick and mortar stores owners, wholesalers, distributor, manufacturers, they are al selling for one good reason -to raise cash/ |

One must ask himself why are so many folks selling on internet-AMZN and Ebay ,FB,Spotify, etsy, rubylane.Ioffer?if not to make a BUCK $$.
If you dont have a brick and mortar shop and pawn shop does not give you what you expect or would not even accept your items, then what are your choices?
Consigning with a retail shop, they can easily take 35%,go to a weekend flea market and rent a table ,many look and they dont buy,and you stand there all day on your feet?
