What is a user account

Pease if somebody can clearify what is a user account in ebay and what is the difference between that account and the other types of account

Im not quite sure what an ebay user account is. The only user accounts I know of are your Windows user accounts. When you go to 'Control Panels' on your pc, you'll see an option for user accounts. Most of us create different user accounts per ebay/paypal account to keep things "under the radar", separated and organized.

As others have said, if you took this from the stealh guide, apkin meant WINDOWS user accounts. This allows for flash cookies, cookies and any file eBAY could use to trace you remains separated. In a perfect world, you should have a user account for each eBAY account you use.

In Vista
Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Manage another account and create a new one there.

Then when you need to log on the eBAY or Paypal site itself you simply SWITCH USERS between your main profile and the other user profile you need, without having the need to log the main one off. This allows for quick switching. If you use VPN make sure to connect the VPN after you've logged on the other user account before logging to any ebay or paypal pages. In short make sure you change to the appropriate IP, since the IP is linked to your entire computer, it does not change between user accounts.
