Using new eBay with old PayPal

eBay account got restricted for not uploading tracking #'s in time. PayPal did not get limited though.

I know PayPal and eBay split partnerships, but eBay still uses PayPal. Back in the day if your eBay account got suspended your PayPal did too, but guess thats not the case anymore. Therefore is there a possibility I can use that PayPal for a new eBay account?

You could and see how long it'll last.

I personally like longetivity and peace of mind, so if one goes down, I chuck the other out of the window too and create 2 brand new accounts.

Many of us are still selling this way including myself.

It should work, for how long nobody knows. All is well at my end as of today (been about 4-5 months now). I have tried establishing fresh stealth accounts (ebay+paypal) but can't get passed that dreaded £1650 EU limit check on paypal but thankfully using a new ebay with my old paypal is still working fine so it isn't the end of the world.

Just use stealth principals for the new ebay (new ip, variation of your address, new phone number, new email, new user account/browser).

Any precautions I should use though. Like I definitely should unlink the PayPal from my limited account correct? or does eBay not allow you to do that. Its been awhile since I've been limited and dealt with stealth stuff.

Not really, it's basically a ticking time bomb that you can't see the timer.

I can't advise doing this regardless of what other members say, one because It's not the right way and two I'm a perfectionist.

Let say the account becomes hot and you have $10k... then one day, it's flagged then linked and you lose $10k. Then what?

You transfer money out as it comes in even if this was a new ebay and Paypal the account could become hot so same principle easy way to avoid that transfer money to bank as it flows in.

Ebay does not suspend sellers for not uploading tracking in timely manner,it may lower your ranking .
Some sellers do not use tracking,all they do is marked item shipped,some only upload if the buyer asks.
