Default Keeping under the radar

Would like to know what is the general idea of staying under radar? Apart from restraining to over listing etc. Would love to hear from experience seller who have done it.

Does these help in staying under radar?
1) Listing item that ain't too expensive? Item price not exceeding $500?

Well, with new accounts, any transactions >100$ will grant you a 21 days hold. The 21 days hold for me lift off once I had about 10 DSR with an avg > 4.5.

So for the first 2-3 weeks I start slow... 5-10 items a week all priced under <100$ (even <50$) is better). This way you can still get your money out, not attract attention, and build DSR and feedback.

Make sure you provide PRISTINE AND 5 STARS CLASS customer service...ship within 24 hours, same day if you can, communicate well, be nice, courteous, respectful, explain you strive for 5 stars rating... then after a month you'll have 20+ feedbacks, 4.8/4.9 avrg across the board, and proven you are reliable.

Then you can start with items 100-500$, and a month later 500$+.

The magic barrier is about 100 feedbacks/3 months. Passed this, if you survived and have had no limitation/violation, you will have a very nice eBAY account to work with. Passed 100 feedbacks and 3 months, assuming of course you have good DSR ratings and less than 2-3 neg feedbacks, you can become a powerseller... in any case you'll be flying low low under the radar if you manage that...
