Help with getting bank account for managed payments
 

Hey guys, have some questions about opening a new bank account to add to managed payments when I sign up. The account is for a 6yr old ebay account under my moms info(with permission) since the bank linked to Paypal is my own and obviously the names wont match.

1. Can I open a bank account using my mailbox rental that has a physical address (ie: 123 ⊗⊗⊗⊗ St #111)? If not, and I need a residential address, does ebay see the address on file of the bank since me (being banned of course), lives at the same address?

-Basically I dont want ebay to see my real address, and I use the rental for business, especially when it comes time to send in a bank statement for proof of ownership.

2. Would it pose a problem when I fund the bank account with an opening deposit and it shows me as the one making the deposit on the statement?

Any recommendations for a good bank that requires little info and no opening deposit would be awesome. I was considering Chime or Simple.

You always open a bank account under your own name.
ANd yes, you can use a rental box for address.

And yes, you'll be fine with the deposit.

Thanks again SaiJin. According to this you can't use a rental box though. Am I missing something?

I'd bet you're going to have problems trying to link your bank account to your mom's eBay.

The rental box has an address and you are fine using it.

Ad open up a Ltd company with a address & business name that matches your eBay. With that open up a business bank account with all same info. Submit to Ayden and they’ll just want a business bank account statement.

Can use a brand new address for both. Aslong as both business names match.

Thanks everyone! OK to clarify I'm wanting to open a bank account for my MOM, not me. Its her ebay account, I just run it like an employee. She doesn't currently have a bank account. I have just been using my own for Paypal since BOA allows for different name deposits.

I was just curious about opening a bank account using a mailbox rental, which SaiJin stated wouldn't be a problem. I just didn't want to use my real address since I live with her and Iv'e been banned and didn't want to create a link.

You may find it difficult to open any USA bank account with only a PO or PMB Box. They will nearly always want a physical address along with the PO Box to open to the account to comply with KYC laws.

no,but if Paypal ask for bank statement,then it will see it

I just care if ebay sees it when signing up for Managed Payments
