Yes.
Vanilla requires you to register your reloadable card, which means you must use all real details including your SSN (they treat a reloadable card just like a bank account)
They do an instant verification test, so any ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info will not allow the card to work.
PayPal and Ebay uses a zip code match, so if your stealth address is in another zipcode, the payment or verification will fail as you must use real details.
Just paid my ebay fees with a Vanilla gift debit card with expiration 04/28.
Registered Zip code at vanillagift.com about 10 minutes before I entered it on ebay.
Was from a 3 pack of $25 cards at CVS.

All I can say is I had a vanilla E Gift Card Exp date 2029 and had no issues to pay my seller fees for 2 months now, but this month October 2020 the card won’t work any longer, I get this error message when making a one time payment: “Your payment couldn't be processed. Please check your card information or select a different payment method.” So I went to a local store purchased a $50 vanilla visa gift card and tried that and it won’t work either same message if you try another time it will not let you make any payments for a while. Not sure what’s going on, but vanilla isn’t working for me and it was before nothing changed on my end so it must be eBay or PayPal or both. Also I tried chrome browser, and safari to test to no avail not sure what’s going on but wanted to put this out there, just wondering if any of you all ran into this as well lately? . Thanks
