He told me, that unlike last time, which he admitted was because of a link, this time it actually had nothing to do with linking. Because, why didn't my other account get taken down?

I've been selling for 16 years. Never had a link. Nor have I changed anything I'm doing this time. Everything is separate. Just wait until ebay decides to suspend your account for arbitrary reasons. You're naive to think ebay actually has to have a real reason to do anything. You must be new.

I didn't receive any notice, but for giggles and ****s, I tried to edit a listing. And, I can now edit my listings. so, i'm not really sure what that means for me.

my items were buy able even while I was restricted. Someone bought something a few minutes ago. I just couldn't edit or list. Now I can, apparently.

I bet you were checking gmail from different accounts on the same device and images were downloaded. It contains a beacon. I've lost accounts the same way before. That needs to be turned off.

Try and be careful with images you use in listings. i always remove EXIF before adding the photos to listing. If all accounts were made with different info then it has to be the images.

What do you mean accounts are back? Have they reversed the ban on all the accounts they took down lately?!!

eBay aren't going to stop upgrading their algo's, fraud detection or whatever you want to call it. Everything you've done for the past 6 years on those accounts is stored somewhere.

All it would take is some kind of new update that analyzes sellers even retroactively for them to link your account. All of those account's could have been linked years ago for all you know, they may have only just now implemented a new method of detection.

That's just one theory.

Its the items. They get pressure from a lot of brands recently. I saw other marketplaces they just took entire section down. Like specific brand name ALL listings.

As you say there is no money in your paypals do you mean like 0 balance or do you keep withdrawing as soon as you get funds on it ?

makes sense,if venues like Ebay and AMZN are liable for what is sold on their venues,
