Question New method of linking? eBay's caller ID when you call them

so Basically i call them from 205 225 1234 ( my cellphone*not real) to ebay to get some of my older accounts reinstated. i have been making calls from this number and my home number 2-3 calls each time, probably a dozen or two dozen in the past 3 weeks to get an dozen old accounts reinstated( so far I got 4-5 accounts back, solid old account).

They usually ask me for a pin#/phone, and i usually skip this part because I forgot the phones associated with these accounts. When i called last night, eBay rep asked me my account ID(yet at the same time, she indicated that there are so many accounts popping up associated with my cellphone) although I never gave them my cellphone number before...

that is exactly how I lost my main account. Keep your excel spread sheet open, or set as your desk top backround so you know the number. Remember before you call always press:
USA: Dial *67 before you dial the number. If you have Caller ID blocked permanently, dial *82 to unblock for a given call.
United Kingdom: Dial 141
Dial "0" to reach the Operator, and have them place the call for you
Dial the call using a pre-paid phone card, or dial from a pay phone works too.

i don't think doing *67 blocks your number if your calling an 800 or 888 number

Are you guys serious? What did you think would happen from calling ebay/pp with the same phone number?!

If youre serious about getting accounts reinstated, get more serious and change your phone number for each attempt. eBay/PP logs EVERYTHING.

i just asked why was i suspended and if i can appeal, and they will tell you exactly how or if they let you appeal. Usually linked account= no appeal , the rest high possibility of an appeal.

well these are old suspended accounts, wouldn't care too much...

I was told there's 3 main methods of linking
and ip/cookies isn't used too much.

The most important and detrimental link is financial, then contact information....

every thread needs a touch of sarcasm and humor. Doughboy supplies the humor very often. I am keeping an eye on the sarcasm

Sitting here laughing at the thought of a dozen people linked up at a bunch of payphones talking to ebay monkies

Never contact ebay or paypal on toll-free numbers: they 'know it is you'

There are many non-toll numbers for paypal. Post .6 in this thread tells you them

What?! eBay now logs all calls? I called about 5 days ago from new landline phone to see if I could get reinstated with suspended account. However, that same number is what is on file with my new stealth account. They will now be linked?

Someone shoot me.

Once an account is suspended, you can NEVER use anything of a new account to deal with ebay/paypal.WTF is so difficult about that to understand?
Here's the forum homework: write this 1000 times
I shall not link the old with the new
I shall not link the old with the new
I shall not link the old with the new
