ebay wants me to call CS after trying to list an item
 

Hi

I bought an account someone from my country who has never sold anything.

I changed the username, full name and address to mine and then when I try to list something it says to call customer service.

Also when I call 1 866 643 1607 it says you have reached a non working number.

If I reach them what should I tell them on the phone?

They're probably wanting you to call because you changed all of the account details before trying to sell. To them it looks like you stole and took over somebody else's account.

Usually they ask general questions about the items you plan to sell, but they may be a bit more intrusive when you call in due to the changes you've recently made to the account. All you can do is call in and find out.

It's a US phone number.. so have you done everything necessary to call from your country to USA?

I tried to use voip app which I have a balance in it.

did you ever use ebay? ofcourse you can change the name and adress.



Why do you buy an account if you change everything instead of just making one??

That's a pretty high security flag trip-move....could result in ID request, etc
