Can I buy stuff with PayPal?

So I have stealth account and stealth PayPal that I have been using to sell. Just want to buy a CRT TV.
Can I buy stuff using this PayPal? Can I just ship it to my current address (I have a new address after I was banned by eBay) ?

If it's a USA account then no because you aren't able to spend the PP balance on US stealth accounts anymore.

Before this year it would not have been a problem. It used to be how we bought all of our office/shipping supplies.

can I still use my paypal to pay my account balance on the selling side?

Any since I can't use paypal to pay for stuff, how do I pay then? Do I get those visa credit cards from stores?

In generally what are accepted methods of payment? I haven't shopped ebay for over 10 years

why dont you find the item first and look at the payment options/

with a stealth US account,you cannot use your Paypal fund to buy or send to another account,you only option is tranfer it to a bank account.
you can also ask for a bank check mailed to y our Paypal address,if this is where you can pick up the check

I use a debit card linked to my eBay account to make purchases, and a bank account linked to my Paypal to pay fee payments.

@OP, have you looked at loading a gift card or loading a VCC to buy the CRT TV?

What's the reason that we can pay eBay balance with PayPal but not for eBay purchases? I trust you on this but I am just trying to understand this one

I think james sells UK paypal accounts and says if you link it to your USA eBay account, you can use the balance to buy things. Reach out to him to confirm

may be Ebay wants its fee,it is willing to take a chance ,since most Paypal members sell on Ebay.thats where the money in his Paypal account come from-by selling something on Ebay !

Ebay and Paypal have agreements,Ebay hi value customer service can easily log into our accounts and do whatever.the regular Ebay reps cant do that.
This is just one example of what goes on between the two,you know Ebay used to own Paypal

Paypal would bend its policy,so can Ebay,I see precious metal sellers selling on EBay and accept bank wire transfer only,no electronic payments,they are selling 6 figures .
So would Paypal,there is no limit,you may think $10k is the limit,no!

Assuming you've already opened a new bank account for this Paypal (since you can't use an old already used bank account), you can honestly just use your debit card. Withdraw the funds from Paypal, and then use your debit card to purchase the CRT on eBay. All you do is add your shipping address at checkout (you don't go into your account settings and try to add it as a default address). Then you put in your debit card info, using whatever name you want since AVS does not check the name provided. Since you have the order going to your address, your billing and shipping address + zip code match up and the order will go through.

I probably won't leave this up long but I can assure you it works. This is how we've had to start buying all of our supplies since we lost the ability to spend PP balances.

The US/UK thing is another option but that's a recipe for disaster in my opinion. I didn't mention that because I assume you're wanting to use an account you're already running rather than purchasing a new eB/PP combo just to buy an old TV.

Yes, that sounds like a great workaround. I should be able to get debit cards if I don't already have then (my wife mananges those).
