GREENBEAN: It is totally sickening. They have hurt a lot of really good people. I would love to see someone sue ebay over this.

I'm not sure if anyone remembers this, but a few years back there was this really famous auction where this dude sold his soon to be ex wife's wedding dress on ebay. The guy was a real character. Well, his auction used a premade template on ebay's site. That template was the exact art work of someone I know. What ebay did is they cropped the picture from her site to get rid of her copywrite and then they flipped the art on it's side (real sneaky huh?). Well, when I forwarded this funny auction to her, she went crazy. Needless to say, a lawsuit followed this. The ebay people gave every excuse possible and dragged it out till she was so sick of dealing with them. Finally, they made her an offer of $40,000 to make it go away. Ebay's attorneys made it clear that they didn't owe her a dime and she was lucky to get anything, blah blah blah.

Anyway, this makes me laugh when ebay suspends your account for using a picture to sell a digital camera you have when they themselves steal artwork for profit from someone elses hard work.

Like I said, scammers with a lot of money.
