New Buyer input wrong address?

What do yall do when buyer puts the wrong address when purchasing and you ship it out and they complain it was shipped to the wrong address.

Do you guys take a loss on product? Buyer already paid and is gonna expect money back even tho they 1000% fked up.

if you ship the item to the address as provided in the email from Ebay or Paypal,you are covered by seller protection,when tracking shows delivered.

There is a way to intercept this package by paying like$13 to USPS ,asking the local post office to hold or return the package to you,not sure if you can ask them t o ship to another address,go to USPS site and find out.

It already got delivered to the incorrect address which was only a few streets over from the persons real address. But the buyer said it was a vacant lot and the package wasn't there.

Am I just suppose to say "sorry you messed up by giving wrong address you lose the money"

yes,you should say call the post office or her regular carrier and ask where is the package.
Her carrier could have taken the package back to the post office,there is a good chance it is coming back to you.
It happened to me once.

The old vacant lot wrong address scam, been around forever.

If they make a claim and you can prove delivery you should be okay. Do not voluntarily refund.

Try and bait him into opening a case. That way you're protected from feedback when you win.

If I opened a case and I did win but he left negative feedback, how would i get ebay to change it? Call them?

seller cannot open a case,buyer can.
This vacant lot scam should not work,no carrier is going to leave a package at a vacant lot if it looks like a vacant lot,he should take it back t o the post office and return to sender.
it could take a long time before you get your item back.
In the mean time,if he opens a case of INR,it would then depend on tracking number,what does it say,if it says return to sender,then he gets his money back.

Get HIM to open a case. Once it's closed in your favor, it prevents buyer from leaving negative

Ebay bot will refund the buyer and OP would just have to wait for the item to be returned back to her,it could take up to 1 month based on my experience.
I would call 1-800-usps customer service and ask them to contact her local post office or look into tracking history,there is more information in tracking history we dont get to see,they would see it and tell you where is the package .

In what way does that have to do with this current discussion? The item was delivered to the address on file. Open and shut case.

Ok,I missed that,OP said it was already delivered,I assume tracking said so.
Then the buyer will lose if she opens a case with EBAY MBG/
