 Will "Trying" to log-in link accounts?
Account EXAMPLE is banned by ebay for whatever reason, now I go to ebay.com using my own laptop which I use for my account and I do the following:
1. Try to login into EXAMPLE
2. Wrong password --> try to restore access by asking for a link via email or sms
Will this failed log-in attempt into account EXAMPLE cause a link between my account and the banned one?
I don't think it would cause a link because anyone who was banned could use his device to attempt logging into unbanned accounts and cause a link, but I just want to hear your opinions on this.
