I told PAYPAL to change the DOB (the rest of my details are ok) and they can't. But they say that if I upload an ID card they can change it. Are they lying?

They wan't your ID card to put on file, then close your account.

Are you sure?, that would be very dishonest if they would to that as I asked the rep and told me that to change the DOB I just would need to upload ID.

The account is in good standing, I just made a mistake when registering typing "1975 instead 1945".

And my name on the ID will be real, the one registered on PayPal.

It's just the Date of birth which is wrong.

I don't have problems to upload the ID card as long as they don't ban my PayPal account ... !

Close this paypal re-open another with the correct details.

Don't risk it by submitting your real ID to them.

You may need to work for the DOD to get it, or use a service to create one. ;)

The thing is that in 2 of my PayPal's I got in touch with reps that had no problem in changing my DOB. Should I trust them?
