Problem with Identity Confirmation
I have a new account , everything is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ . I have listed 6 items and when I tried to list the 7th I get " we dont recognize the computer you are using , please use live help to confirm your identity"
I did this last week... chatted with live help , confirmed my identity, tried to list ... still same message...
I wrote them back , and explained the issue... they said to change the user ID, and email address... I did this...
still couldnt list. I wrote them back , they replied that they had checked my account and confirmed my identity once again...and that the account should be good to go.
Still cant list.. getting the same message that I need to confirm my identity.
Why does it keep happening? I have a couple of echecks pending to this Paypal associated with the ebay account and really need them to clear so I can withdraw the money before I dig to deep in this if they are eventually going to shut me down. I thought after the third time eBay said that they had confirmed my identity that I wouldnt have to worry about this ...
But the computer is obviously catching something when I try to list. I dont clear cookies,(the ones they want to see) , have it on a seperate user account, always check the "keep me signed in" box , I have dial up , so I know its not the IP .
WWYD?
I could speak with them once again, take the chance of getting a Smart A** who could shut me down. or would you just let it be until the echecks clear, and the current auctions are over?
I hate to keep drawing such attention to the account, while its in such a "delicate" situation.
There is obviously something wrong , I have had four ebay reps say oh I have now fixed your account, everything is fine" And its clearly not...
