Does Adyen know the details of every purchase?

Adyen is now processing payments for both eBay sellers and buyers, does Adyen know the details of purchases? (e.g: what product is being sold/bought, the title of the listing, the shipping address of the buyer and the address of the seller...etc)?

Or does Adyen give eBay a main payment account and lets eBay do all the processing through sub-merchant accounts and only eBay gets to look at the details?

with Paypal,we each have our own Paypal account and it keeps 7 years of our history,it has the date ,description of the item,the amount,the shipping address.
This is a question you should ask Ebay

What is it that you're thinking about exactly?

I'm just speculating but I feel like for legal reasons eBay would need to turn over all transactions details to Adyen, so that Adyen can then share/validate those details with credit card companies and prevent fraud. Certain details need to be available to all parties involved.

I agree with the poster above, phaz0rz, my guess would be that they do, or at the very least the small print says they can.

Maybe asking this question on one of the main forums will garnish a reply from one of their mods.

How about the ability to suspend a sub-merchant account? Do you think Adyen could behave like PayPal and take a one-sided decision to basically terminate a seller's future?

UPDATE:

I got on the phone with an Adyen employee, they actually do get all the details of an eBay transaction. They setup a main account for eBay itself (eBay is the account manager in this case) and they let eBay create sub-merchant accounts for its sellers. This is why eBay is making the statement that the seller relationship is only with eBay (which is technically not true by the way). Adyen does have the ability to suspend a sub-merchant account and leave an eBay seller in jeopardy just like PayPal did.

I have a feeling if adyen suspends, ebay suspends. Ebay's new mc011 is curious, i am glad i do not own stock in them. Their excessive mc011 stuff is getting out of hand. Do they mc011 managed payment sellers? I mean technically speaking, shouldn't you be already verified?

they can,just because you are verified,does not mean you do not misbehave.
Like Paypal,Ebay /Ayden will comply when approached by law enforcements around the world

EBay tends to use MC011 just before going over to managed payments especially high volume sales accounts less than a year old, it is one way for Ayden to approve you. If you think about it, Ayden is processing payments for eBay without knowing anything about the seller, they also have to comply with USA financial laws so MC011 is a way to vet the seller. Wait until you have to open a new account without PayPal as an option straight into MP it will be like Amazon, account suspended and send all the things that MC011 require to start selling.
