Default What is considered "big" seller on eBay?

Do sellers who bring in 1 million in yearly sales count as "big"?

I don't think I've ever sold more than 30k on an account in a year.So that definitely sounds big. High rollers!

Yes that would definitely be considered 'big'.

Sellers breaking one million are top 1% sellers.

I think any account that does 30K a month consistently is a fairly strong account as long as they don't have any defects.

if i sold 30k in a year i'd be happy. I tried that whole arbitrage thing, and i was so surprised how many companies troll with vero and report copyright violations.

So much abuse! Not sure how big drop shippers do it.

The only problem I have with the concep of dropshipping is that I don't have the product in my own possession and as such I can't guarantee a reliable fulfillment.

My advice would be to sell your own products and leave dropshipping for good as it invites trouble on eBay.

Maybe so, but even if you assume a fair part of your profit will be taken back and your feedback might take a bit of a kicking, it's an easy way to make money from the comfort of your sofa if you get it right.

It's not for me but there's plenty making goods money armed with nothing but a cheap lappy. For someone sitting on a grotty bench in a deprived country I can see the appeal of trying to get relatively rich via their phone. Seems to be the go-to income stream of choice in Israel these days.

Dropshipping works just find the right suppliers and test their products and fulfillment methods. Imagine having the ability to own a Walmart without buying a single piece of inventory upfront

I am a manufacturer of my own products, sold on eBay and Amazon. I am selling stealth now but before stealth was doing like $700k eBay and $2.2MM Amazon. Amazon didn't care, assigned us a personal account manager, let our ODR get to almost 5%. eBay suspended us for a stupid reason I can't remember what for. Barely missing seller metrics.

So a long time ago there was this super large DVD seller on eBay called GlacierDVD . . . the amount of sales they had was astounding. Super high feedback, super high positive feedback % etc...

guess what. eBay nuked them out of the blue.

What people call dropshipping nowadays is complete and utter bullshiit.

Actual dropshipping is how I started out, back in the day, with a reputable well-stocked US supplier with quick shipping. Was a solid business venture.

I can't imagine doing 1 million in sales in just 1 store. Especially selling VERO items, but to do it over multiple stores can be done.
