Default WHAT LAPTOP/PC specs do people use for Multiple accounts

So guys, thinking of updated my Intel i3 core snail of a Laptop, I've been looking at Gaming Laptops i7, purely on the basis because they are quick for multiple users (stealths).

BY THE WAY I'M NOT INTO GAMING, HAVE A PS5 FOR THAT.

Any feedback guys would be appreciated!

Cheers

If you're NOT gaming, you don't need a high performance laptop for creating stealth accounts. I'd just look into upgrading ram if you want "smooth" performance.

Yes, but uploading images, products, Inventory etc.. slows the machine down over 10 user accounts on 1 machine. Do you not think?

My Win7 Machine from 2012 has more than 400 user accts on it.
Never had an issue.
Win 10 is not very friendly to multiple user accts from everything Ive seen.

I like windows 10, but windows 7 def seems like it can hold more user accounts, especially when you are talking into the hundreds. I recently got a i5 16GB ram and notice a huge difference in speed. Very happy with that purchase

Define multiple?

Anything under 100 accts you can pretty much use anything not older than 10 years old and with at least a 500GB hard drive.

I"m still using windows 7. and my hardware is 8 years old.

I'd say go for something that's decently fast so you can work efficiently. It doesn't have to be super fast for gaming.

Create a work station computer

Anything i5 cpu and up with 8GB memory and 250 SSD will keep you going strong for a while. I sell these and we are getting a lot of 4 year old Dells with this configuration which is still a modern spec for between $200 to $250 with windows 10 pro activated

I spend a lot of my time upgrading computers from Win 7 to Win 10, Win 7 is full of bugs now, not supported for the past year so no security updates are available.

Recommend upgrade to Win 10 which is still free and you will be amazed how much faster and better it is.

You guys dont need anything with huge amounts of ram, a SSD is all you need. A i3 with a SSD will make the laptop feel fast to switch to different user accounts.
The SSD will speed up changing from account to account, the ram doesnt speed up anything. 8gb of ram is all you need, you dont need a fast gaming laptop for laptop.
My main and only laptop MSI ge75
intel i9 9880h
32gb 3000mhz ram
x2 intel 2tb 660p SSD m.2 nvme, and 4tb WD red 4tb 2.5in SSD
Nvidia 2080
17.3in screen 144mhz

I use it both for selling and gaming, editing, watching porn and movies.

Upgraded my laptop with SDD - works much faster than on HDD
Added RAM - nothing changed

If its your business only laptop, 8gb of ram is enough. Glad you got a SSD.
