Activity: 1% Longevity: 63% | | How I run multiple accounts on old laptop
Hello,
I want to share the way that I run multiple Amazon account on an old laptop that broken in half (the LCD display and keyboard are broken cause my wife tried to break it :-))
I have cable Internet and connect direct from the modem to this laptop (no router). This way when the modem see new MAC it will assign a new IP.
1. Made like 25 small partitions (like 20GB/each)
2. Install Windows XP on C:
3. Install LogMeIn and TMAC
4. Use free partition software to clone the C: partition image to the other 24 partitions
5. Modified the Boot.ini to the way you want it boot.
6. Change the Computer ID & MAC ID for each partitions to match your stealths account.
7. On the desktop background I put all the stealth account information there (Email, User, Pass, MAC ID,...)
8. Add the TMAC software to Auto Start. Every time I boot the computer to the account I want and always compare the information BEFORE I open a web browser.
Everything I do is just with in that partition ONLY.
I know most people using Virtual Machine, VMWare but I like an actual OS so it is faster and better.
Cheer,
P.S: Now, I just plug that dumb laptopn in and remote log-in from work with out my lady know it. :-) That is the best part hahahaa

A lot of this stuff isn't practical for most people :/
You honestly don't need any type of additional software or partitions to go stealth! Just create a new computer user with a new ip.. that's it
Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed reading it.

Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed reading it. | I know that but for a long run you may log-in to the wrong account :-) or you are having the same Computer ID, software installed, font installed. I think I go 1 more step to feel better :-)

The OP's Method is solid, I did something VERY similar about 2 Years ago before I went to VM Ware, MUCH Easier,,Op sounds like he Needs a New Laptop, what with that broken screen,,,,,Maybe even a New Wife, so the New Laptop does not suffer the same fate

Just curious, why so many accounts? That can get quite expensive. At least $25 each for a gift card assuming you get everything else free. That's $2500 to setup that many accounts

It's not $2,500 at one time. I buy gift cards for $4.95 and put $25.00 on it.
Once I use the card for Verification I then spend the money when completed.
I usually buy 6-10 cards at any one time.
The REAL cost is the $4.95 to purchase the card. No biggie.

Tell me if I am wrong but from what I read here you have to leave a balance on their because they check it periodically.

they do check the card eevery once in a while. i got a new credit card once cause old was was lost on account that almost a year old.and then i got an email saying they tried to verify card on file and it didnt go through and they were holding deposit until i updated info. i added my new card and everything was okay but had to wait another two weeks until next disbursement to get paid which really sucked.

They will check the card randomly and ESPECIALLY upon withdrawals - safe to keep 10-20$ on the card if its prepaid...discussed many times

On the initial $25.00 I'll spend $15.00 to $20.00 right away.
Then file it in a box in my desk.
